On May 12, 2026, an enriching and thought-provoking workshop on “Happy Classroom,” was conducted by Ms Moumita Sen. The session highlighted the importance of creating emotionally secure, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments that support not only academic achievement but also the holistic well-being of students.
Drawing upon the CBSE K–12 Standards of Happiness, the workshop shed light on the vital role of emotional well-being, empathy, and mindfulness in shaping meaningful classroom experiences. Through engaging discussions and real-life classroom scenarios, Ms Sen provided valuable insights into building positive teacher–student relationships and managing classroom dynamics with sensitivity and understanding.
What made the session particularly impactful was its strong focus on practical application. Educators were introduced to interactive pedagogical strategies and actionable approaches that can be effectively implemented in everyday teaching. These strategies aim to foster student engagement, build confidence, and nurture a genuine love for learning.
The workshop served as a powerful reminder that the role of a teacher extends beyond imparting knowledge to creating an environment where students feel valued, supported, and inspired. It was a meaningful confluence of reflection and practice, reinforcing the belief that a happy classroom is indeed the foundation of effective learning and lasting educational impact.
