International Affairs Coordinators
Main responsibilities:- To provide a complete support and resource system for teachers to help them approach international activities
- To advertise Action Plan projects and facilitate proper use of online resource sites as Global Gateway, elanguages and epals.
- To develop and maintain links with schools in other countries to include e-mail correspondence, VCs, student/staff exchanges
- To register link with partner school in UK (Chosen Hill) with DFID’s Global School Partnership and successfully apply for Reciprocal Visit Grant
- To regularly evaluate impact of international activities and the global dimension in the curriculum via monthly staff meetings and evaluation reports
- To coordinate the international activities in the school and monitoring of the same
- To liaise between curriculum areas on projects
- To be responsible for putting together and submitting the ISA dossier of work completed
- To maintain display boards around the school and in Vivekananda Admin Block showing work and giving information about international projects
- To facilitate good internal and external communication about all International activities by newsletters, international notice board, school radio and school website
- To deliver assemblies to the whole school at least once per term on the International Dimension
- To liaise with specific people in the community over projects
- To help the school celebrate cultural diversity through international weeks, special assemblies etc
- To maintain DFID Wall Planner of international activities
