Grandparents Day

Grandparents - Sprinklers of Stardust over their Grandchildren’s Lives

Alex Haley rightly said, “Nobody can do for little children what Grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children.” Grandparents have the magical aura that adds a wonderful glow and charm to their grandchildren’s life. They appease, soothe, and impart values with tremendous ease. They hold a special place in the lives of the little ones and we at SAI International celebrate Grandparents day with great joy and fervor every year to showcase the innocent and cherished bonds. The students present a melodious song applauding the Grandparents for their love and sacrifice. Then the Grandparents are taken on a joyful ride down the memory lane by dancing on the songs of yester years that fill the auditorium with applause and cheer. Students presented a wonderful and emotional musical skit depicting the importance and role of Grandparents in the lives of their grandchildren. The emotional relationship between Grandparents and their grandchildren can significantly affect the grandchildren. Grandparents play a 360 degree role and provide for a wholesome development and growth of children that has positive benefits on their emotional, spiritual, social and physiological development. At SAI International School we believe in harnessing our children with the bonds that are a pre requisite of a wholesome life and days like these serve as an opportunity to make the bonds stronger and let the Grandparents feel that they are an important part of their grand children’s lives.
